Dan began his career aspiring to be a journalist, graduating from Brighton with a BsC in Sports Journalism. However he decided to go in a different direction coming out of university, taking up a position at Raw Material PR as an intern in September 2009. Working out of an old Jubilee Line train carriage parked on top of a building in Shoreditch, it would prove to be a baptism of fire, as he was taken on full-time within weeks and quickly became responsible for a number of key accounts.
Working in just a two-person company, Dan gained a wealth of experience working on an incredibly diverse list of clients ranging from fashion, music, venues and entertainment to post-apocalyptic, anarchic art exhibitions and heavyweight boxing champions.
Alongside his PR work, Dan also continues to write in his spare time and has had work published in Mens Health, When Saturday Comes, WideWorld and DV8 Magazine, as well as creating and maintaining a fashion blog for one of his Raw Material clients. After nearly a year and a half at Raw Material, Dan started a new chapter by joining Red Dog in January 2011. His clients include Grey London, The Marketing Store, Quadrangle, Goodstuff and devilfish
